Nonprofit Printing and Direct Mail FAQs
Do you offer nonprofit discounts?
Yes. Registered 501(c)(3) organizations receive discounted pricing on printing and direct mail. Submit your IRS determination letter with your quote and we’ll apply nonprofit rates to all subsequent orders.
Can you mail at nonprofit postal rates?
Yes. If your organization has a USPS Nonprofit Standard Mail authorization, we mail your campaigns under your permit at nonprofit postage rates. We can also help you apply for nonprofit mailing authorization if you do not already have one. Contact us to start saving.
What's the minimum order size?
We have no formal minimum. We routinely print runs from 50 pieces (gala invitations, board materials) to 50,000+ pieces (acquisition mail campaigns). Digital printing makes small runs cost-effective.
Can you handle the entire mailing, not just printing?
Yes. We are a full-service print shop. We can print, address, presort, deliver to USPS, and provide tracking. List management, NCOA processing, and CASS certification are all handled in-house.
Do you ship outside the Bay Area?
Yes. We work with nonprofits across California and nationally. Production happens in Emeryville and we ship completed work or drop mail at our closest USPS facility.
What file formats do you accept?
Print-ready PDFs are preferred. We also accept native InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop files. Our prepress team checks every file before going to press. File preparation guides are available in our client tools & resources section.
Do you ship outside the Bay Area?
We mail nationwide and provide statewide drop shipping for campaigns and unions operating outside Northern California.
How long does a typical job take?
Digital print jobs (under 1,000 pieces) typically turn around in 3 to 5 business days, but every project is different. Rush turnaround is available. Contact us to get more specific on your project.
